But I didn't want to post about it on my Twitter and have complete strangers judging me. I wanted to have my blog readers and friends judging me. Nevermind that this is still a public forum......I won't.
The first thing you need to know in order to understand my fail is that my parents currently both work for and live in the city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The second thing you need to know is that the current Milwaukee County Executive is running for Governor of Wisconsin. His name is Scott Walker. Upon logging in to Twitter today just to see what's going on with things, I saw this screen:
As you can see.....Scott Walker is very clearly mentioned in the current Trending Topics on Twitter. Generally I try to go out of my way to avoid talking about, reading about, or thinking about anything having to do with anything mentioned in the Trending Topics, but this one intrigued me. WHY would a Milwaukee County Executive who's running for Governor of Wisconsin be highly talked about amongst the internet socialites of Twitter? Just WHY? I myself have actual THOUGHTS about Scott Walker and I've never talked about him on Twitter...I cannot imagine what would make a predominance of 13-25 year olds the world over talk about him. He either did something spectacularly awesome or spectacularly terrible.
