The 1980's Called, They Want Their Shoes Back

So, I was walking from the train to my office when this rather stylishly dressed and high-maintenance looking woman comes walking out of the pole dancing school's doorway and proceeds to cross (in the middle of the street) to the (s)wanky hotel across the street. I think very little of it, until I see her shoes. Which..........almost matched her skirt. Her skirt was pink. Not a soft pink, but not like neon either. Her shoes, on the other hand, were. Neon I mean.

Now, I really really really wanted to take a picture of this, but my phone camera, being installed on the world's smallest handheld communication device, has a hard time taking photos of anything more than 3 feet away from it, so I figured it would have a hard time capturing the detail of someone's shoes from across the street. Plus, I've still never bothered to figure out how to use the bluetooth feature thingy to upload photos off my phone anyway. Because really......I stick to the principle that a phone is a phone and a camera is a camera. Though I'm starting to see the merits of covert cell phone photography. I mean, I had my camera, but it would have been a lot more conspicuous if I'd just whipped out a camera and took a picture of a random lady on the other side of the street.

That said, I did google up a picture of the closest approximation of these shoes that I can find. And really.......NONE of the colors these shoes come in is acceptable as footwear now that it's no longer 1985.

I bring you...........................
hot pink shoes
