Welcome to Blog2.0

Ok, so I've had a blog several blogs for quite some time now. I don't update any of them nearly as often as I should. My main other blog (Blog1.0) I started in 2005 after a bit of a life-changing event. Much of it gets all angsty and emotional. Some of it shows you how much time I wasted in grad school. After that it just gets boring because so did I.

In an effort to compartmentalize, I've shifted some gears to posting less emotional more funny/random/amusing things here on Blogger. It links nicely to my Twitter, it has some pretty good features, and some of my friends like reading me talking about boring stuff or emotional stuff, and some of them don't. So......it's likely that this blog will get the bulk of my attention for a while at least. I hope it's funny/amusing to at least some of you. I can never hope to keep up with the king of blogging, who unknowingly has inspired me to do a better job making my blog make people laugh, but at least I can try to do better.

I may get burned out on updating.....it's happened to every blog I've ever had, but I'll try not to. I'm also horrendously slow at both uploading AND categorizing photos that I take, so stuff doesn't get posted in a timely fashion. That's one major contributor to my blogs not getting updated. I'll work on it, but I've never been successful before, so I'm not sure why that would turn around now.

Welcome to Blog2.0--whether we're friends in real life, whether we're already internet "friends", or whether you've just stumbled here on accident. I hope you at least find yourself mildly amused.
